Iain & Leah had the sweetest little wedding that I would call perfect. I have never seen a couple so in tune with each other, always touching, always looking at one another. Definitely true love.

Leah is from Cape Breton but went to British Columbia for school. That’s where she met Ian and fell in love. He is a brew master and a job happened to open up at Breton Brewing in Cape Breton. The choice was easy for the couple to pack up and move east to start their new life.

They were married on the property of their new home in Northside East Bay surrounded by their closest friends, family and of course their boy Brutus. Nature is very important to them so we have to incorporate the surrounding wilderness in their photos.

They ended the night dancing with a reception at Breton Brewing being serenaded by the talented Jordan Musycsyn. The east coasters and west coasters really party well together.

My career as a travel photographer is tough enough, but influencers made it worse!

Before I felt the wrath of traveling photographers everywhere, I’d like to frame the title and all the words that follow. Photography is a tough business, regardless of the genre you work in. Maybe you work in multiple genres, like almost all the photographers I know, dabbling here and there alongside a primary field. Then […]
