I find this image totally mesmerizing in terms of color and composition, and it’s one of my all-time favorite shots I’ve seen here on Ls.

What Are Our Members Up To?

Long exposures enable our human – and therefore limited – vision to see our natural world in an expanded way.

Now that’s some speedy clouds! “Kissin’ Cousins, Long Exposure Late Evening Shot from Castle Gardens”.

Vibrant and psychedelic! An amazing capture of color!

And speaking of capturing color, let’s not forget to rely on artificial light sources to capture this beautiful phenomenon as well.

Just like light waves, water can also be captured in an altered state. Here, a large body of water turns itself into a glassy surface, acting as a mirror under the sky.

We know for sure that clouds are always on the move. Hence, the mere presence of these beautiful bodies in the sky implies movement of some sort. Here, this massive rain-cloud moves like a huge flying cargo ship.

A match made in heaven!

Patrick had some fun last week, which isn’t something he does enough, and shared this beautiful design of what we consider could be a good cover for a mystery book:

Beth Reminded us about the existence of MC Hammer and his famous hammer time! She also made a great joke.

Steve shared a gorgeous spring scene:

Tersha released the first batch of tiny frogs… 27 ​​of them!

And David had been planning this shot for a little while, but just recently heI finally made the time to give it a go. These are composites of two images, both taken by him, and diffraction spikes were added in PP. Happy to hear your thoughts.
